Cape Tribulation is where the Daintree rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef and there is a wide variety of tours and opportunities to explore this very special part of our planet and therefore a stay of at least two or three nights is recommended. Activities near this Cape Tribulation accommodation include; snorkeling / scuba-diving, horse riding, guided rainforest walks, 4WD safaris, seakayaking, jungle surfing, exotic fruit tasting, crocodile cruises, birdwatching and fishing.

Ofcourse you can also take it easy, the town centre of Cape Tribulation is within walking distance of your accommodation and there are pristine unspoilt beaches to laze around, or relax on your verandah with the sounds of the rainforest birds, spot some of the abundant wildlife, treat yourself to a massage or refresh in our jungle rockpool.
We also have a fire place to dry things in the wet season and warm us in the winter.

Cape Tribulation is situated in the heart of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park, 70 km. north of Port Douglas, 150 km. north of Cairns. Door to door bus services drop off at all Cape Tribulation accommodation and any normal car can make the journey as the road north of the Daintree river is now sealed all the way to Cape Tribulation.

This is the perfect place to get away from it all, Cape Tribulation is not really a town but a wilderness area by the beach with only about eighty permanent residents, twenty houses, a couple of accommodation places, a few restaurants and some small shops.
