Birdwatching in the Daintree rainforest can be a challenge as birds are
often high up in the canopy and while their voices can be heard a long
way, spotting the birds is not quite as easy with the dense foliage.
Several wildlife tours are available with expert bird watchers as guides,

Dahlberg run birdwatching
tours from Daintree Village, with departure times varying from 06.30 in
the morning to day tours and even night tours on request.
- Crocodile and birdwatching tours on the Daintree River at dawn visiting
various habitats. Established since July 1992 and led by Chris Dahlberg
this tour averages 50 species which are displayed on the more information
page. All tours are conducted by Chris Dahlberg.
