Mobile phones will work most the time out at the point on Cape Tribulation, and further off the coast, so when you go out on Rum Runner you will be able to catch up on your messages.

To get out to the point you can reach Myall Beach via Dubuji boardwalk and head north, but only do this at low tide as there is a crocodile inhabited creek to cross just before the cape.

If it is a high tide then drive to the carpark for Cape Tribulation Beach and follow the walking track south, this will get you on Myall Beach above the creek.
