Cape Tribulation Accommodation / Daintree Accommodation - B&B / Bed and Breakfast in the Daintree Rainforest National Park

Please read through the booking and cancellation policy below; I know it all sounds a bit official but it helps to avoid misunderstandings and confusion.

Booking policy:

Rooms will be held upon receipt of either;

1. Credit card details ( number, exp.date and name on card)
An authorization will be obtained to verify the details but no charge will be made yet, on arrival you have a choice of paying by cash or card.

2. Payment of the first night by;

- direct bank deposit into account no. 019595740, BSB no. 104191 , BANKSA / St. George Bank, 19 Aplin St. Cairns, account name RJ Lapaer trading as Rainforest Hideaway. SWIFT code for the bank is SBGLAU2SADL .

-If you're a one of the 100 million Pay Pal users you can mail your payment to stay@rainforesthideaway.com . If you're not just go to www.paypal.com for more info and open a free account that you can use to send money worldwide to all sorts of websites and people.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations up to 48 hrs before arrival: no charge to card ( or full refund minus administration costs refunded if already paid )

Cancellations up to 24hrs before arrival: 50 % charged ( or 50 % minus administration costs refunded if already paid )

Cancellations less than 24 hrs before arrival or no-show without timely notification: full amount charged.

If your booking has been made through an agent that charges a commission then we can not refund you this amount, you will have to contact the agent yourself.

The above is calculated from 12 noon which is check-in time, for example a booking for Saturdaynight can be cancelled up to Thursday noon, up to Friday noon there is a 50% charge and after this the full amount is charged.

Cancelling your accommodation because it rains in the rainforest is NOT a very valid excuse, however if due to heavy rains the creeks run over the Cooper Creek causeway and it is not possible to reach Cape Tribulation this obviously is beyond your control and will be regarded as a valid reason for cancellation and no charge will be made to your card or a refund made if already paid.

Most people arrive between 12 and 5pm, please advise if you expect to arrive very late. Ofcourse if you come up on the morning bus you are welcome at 10.15 when it drops off here.

If you fail to show up or fail to make contact on your booked arrival date it will be presumed you have decided to stay elsewhere and your booking for the next few nights will be cancelled so if you are running late please ring and notify us!

Be aware that Cape Tribulation is a 2.5 hour drive from Cairns airport, if you have an early flight book some accommodation in Cairns now and stay near the airport, if you decide to cut short your stay at Rainforest Hideaway at short notice to be closer to the airport the normal cancellation policy will apply.
